FreeMalta Partners
with Payoneer.
The global payment platform used by 5 million+ businesses across 200 countries joins FreeMalta's partner ecosystem — bringing cross-border payments, multi-currency accounts and contractor payouts to Malta's international operators.
Sliema, Malta — July 17, 2026. FreeMalta, Malta's AI-native business intelligence platform, today announces a formal affiliate partnership with Payoneer, the Nasdaq-listed global payment platform serving over 5 million businesses across 200 countries.
Payoneer does one thing and does it well: it moves money across borders, in multiple currencies, through multiple payment methods, at competitive rates. Bank transfers, debit cards, marketplace payouts, batch contractor payments — all accessible from a single account. For Malta companies paying freelancers in 40 countries, receiving payments from international clients, or managing multi-currency operations without a treasury department, Payoneer is the practical infrastructure that actually works.
The platform is particularly embedded in Malta's iGaming, affiliate marketing and digital services ecosystem. Freelancers, media buyers, content creators and international contractors — Payoneer is the pipe through which a significant portion of Malta's international payment flows already move. FreeMalta formalises what is already a de facto relationship.
Payoneer will be featured across FreeMalta's International Payments hub as the primary recommendation for cross-border contractor and freelancer payments, and in head-to-head comparisons on The Duel platform. The partnership page is live at freemalta.com/hub/international-payments.
Note: FreeMalta also maintains a separate partnership with Payoneer Workforce, Payoneer's EOR and global employment solution. The two products serve distinct use cases — this announcement covers Payoneer's core payment platform.
